Rowing Across the Harbor

Let's take a journey, you and I

I'll row us across the harbor

We will go by buoys, some may be wood

Maybe see a seal or the thrill of a shark

But you will be safe as I row us across

To the other side

Where — I hope — we will find a place to land

The tide is high so a beach is possible

But if we wait too long it will ebb

Then we will be stuck

Luckily it will rise

And we will be at it again

Rowing across the harbor
